How do you even manage to breathe without fucking that up too?» Sometimes they talk about sexual things that make me feel sick inside. «We know you touch yourself at night thinking about your cousin Layan,» they whisper. «What a perverted little freak. If your family knew, they’d disown you. Or worse, they’d kill you to wash away the shame.»
Last Tuesday something changed. I was walking home from school and a group of older boys bumped into me, laughing when I fell. The voices erupted with a rage that wasn’t mine. «GET UP YOU LITTLE SHIT! SHOW THEM WHO’S BOSS!» they screamed. «FOLLOW THEM HOME! WE’LL HELP YOU BREAK THEIR BONES ONE BY ONE! START WITH THE FINGERS SO THEY CAN NEVER WRITE AGAIN! THEN THE KNEES SO THEY CAN NEVER WALK PROPERLY!» I felt this strange energy surge through me, like electricity. For a moment, I wanted to do it. I actually wanted to hunt them down and hurt them. «We’ll make you a god,» they promised. «Imagine their faces when they realize the little boy they pushed around is now their torturer. We can guide your hands. We know exactly where to hit to cause maximum pain without killing them too quickly. You could keep them for days in that abandoned building near the port. Nobody would hear them scream.»
The voices described in detail what I could do. «Start with waterboarding,» they instructed calmly. «It leaves no marks but feels like drowning. Then move to stress positions – hanging them by their wrists would be perfect. Their muscles would tear, their joints would dislocate, but they’d stay conscious. We can teach you how to break their minds before their bodies. Make them beg for death, then deny them even that relief. You could collect their teeth as trophies. Their parents would never know what happened to them.» I felt dizzy with a power that wasn’t mine. It was terrifying and intoxicating all at once. For a few hours, I actually considered finding those boys. The voices had made me feel strong instead of weak, powerful instead of helpless. When I finally came back to myself, I was hiding behind a dumpster, shaking and crying. The voices just laughed. «Such a waste. You could have been magnificent.»
They’re especially cruel about my family. «Your father secretly drinks alcohol when he thinks no one is watching,» they revealed last night. «We have recordings. We could send them to the religious police. Imagine his shame when he’s flogged in public. Imagine your family’s disgrace. Or better yet, YOU could be the one to turn him in. Prove you’re more righteous than him. Watch him suffer and know you caused it.» They know my deepest fears and twist them into weapons. «Your sister Maryam isn’t actually your sister,» they whispered yesterday. «Your mother had her with another man. That’s why your father treats her differently. We have proof. Would you like to see it? Would you like to expose the lies your family has built around you?»
Every night they beg me to kill myself. «Just do it already,» they scream when I’m lying in bed trying to sleep. «Your parents would be relieved. One less mouth to feed. One less disappointment. Jump from the roof of your school. It’s high enough. You might survive the fall and then you’d really know suffering. Or hang yourself from the tree in the courtyard. We’ll count how long you kick. It could be fun.» Last week I tried holding my breath until I passed out, but my mother found me and thought I was just playing a game. The voices just laughed harder. «See? Nobody cares. Nobody will ever care. The General Intelligence Directorate has already won. You’re their experiment, their toy, and when you finally break, they’ll just find another child to replace you.»
I hate this country. I hate the heat that bakes the sidewalks until they burn your feet. I hate the way everyone pretends to be so pious while the government tortures children like me in secret. Sometimes I dream of running away to America, but the voices would follow me anywhere. They’re not just in my head anymore – they’ve become part of me. I am the hatred they spew, the violence they crave, the shame they cultivate. I’m only eight years old and I already know I’m broken beyond repair. The General Intelligence Directorate did this to me. They took my mind and filled it with poison, and now I’m just waiting to die.

Здравствуйте, мамочки и папочки! прага за 1 день маршрут Мы с маленькой дочкой недавно сходили на Детском острове в Праге и спешим поделиться своими отзывами. Там очень много площадок и развлечений на свежем воздухе, что очень приятно. Специально для малышей, вроде моего, есть качели и горки, которые сделаны достаточно безопасно, по моим ощущениям. Мы ходили среди зелени, и было приятно, что пространство открытое и не слишком людное. Плюс там есть лавочки и столики для отдыха — весьма удобно, когда хочешь сделать перерыв. В своем личном блоге я обстоятельно рассказала об этом с фото — может, кому-то пригодится определиться, стоит ли идти всей семьей. Hey folks, I’m a university student just beginning to explore color theory, and I’m honestly pretty stuck. I’ve been trying to find my personal color palette, but my undertones just fail to fit neatly into warm or cool. I’ve taken several online quizzes, and the results are all over the place—one said I’m a soft summer (cool and muted), another called me neutral warm, and yet another just categorized my undertones as neutral. It gets even more overwhelming when I try the standard tests like looking at my wrist veins—I can clearly see hints of both blue and green—and holding white paper next to my face impacts how my skin looks depending on the lighting. Some days it feels like I’m warm, other days cool, and sometimes just neutral, which is the least useful answer!
